This sucks and here's why

This is very dumb and everything sucks about it.

Sasa is the MC of this story. Everyone (including herself) thinks she is boring, average and childish.

She has no goals or interests. She literally chooses to attend a highschool because her crush (LI) goes there.

Later on, the LI tells her his dream to become a vet, and she tells him that her dream is to help him with his dream, so she also tries to follow him to university.

She also doesn't have any friends. The only people she talks to are some girls at her school that basically undermine her, and her childhood friend who is actually in love with her.

Maki is the LI. A handsome playboy that attracts all the girls. His playbody tendencies are justified by the fact that his mother left him and his father is absent from his life. Basically he has both mummy and daddy issues.

At least he has a goal in his life and he's working hard towards it throughout the whole series. He wants to become a vet to help his dog.

Also, we find out that he plays the piano and we see him play sports, so at least he has some hobbies.

We see him talking with people from his school and university, but he doesn't have any meaningful friendships either (or at least they aren't shown to us). He basically has a cousin, who disappears after a while, an ex sex friend and two people he met at his university.

These shallow characters get together in an equally shallow relationship. Sasa and Maki barely communicate and especially Maki is being a jerk to her whenever anything inconvenient happens.

To be honest, Maki is being mean to Sasa throughout the manga. He literally makes her wait for him while they're on their first date, because he has abandonment issues. He also calls her childish and not sexy.

Sasa also calls Maki a mama's boy just to hurt him, because his mom left him, in the very beginning, and at the end of the manga she thinks he doesn't care for their relationship, because he works and studies a lot.

Of course there are many tropes in this manga, such as poorly executed love triangles, an "I think he's cheating" plotline, an overprotective childhood friend, among many others.

I can't ignore that throughout the story many things are inconsistent or don't make sense.

For example in one chapter it says that Sasa attends the same university as Maki, and in another chapter it says that Sasa goes to a different university.

Also, why would Maki's guy friend who has a crush on Sasa text Maki "I love you"?

I could keep on going about how stupid this story is, but I'll stop here. Thanks for reading!
