If I had a baby and somehow regressed back to a time I didn’t have them. I’d do whatever it takes to get them back. Love or not, I’d find a way to bring them into my life again. Idc i will hop on that damn man just to get myself pregnant. Like how could a mother ever forget that bond with her baby? I’d do anything to have them back even if i had to get back with him…love or not i still would want my child back….and then i could throw that scumbag away and easily replace him
I can understand if it was years spent, but at the same token there's to many variables to look at. What makes you so sure that they would be the same? would they retain their unique personality? are they boy or girl in this life? It also sucks if they don't retain or don't remember their past life memories as well. If all these variables were to add up it would feel like you just had a complete newborn baby than the previous life. Secondly If the guy is a scumbag, especially one that gotten you killed why risk a life hurt with you and your children as well? So not only your child has chance to be different, but you still had a child with a scummy person. I know a most parents can't easily forget about their children but more than anything I would hate to bring them back just for them to get hurt again.
Also the person your up against is the prince. Putting yourself in fl shoes not only is the 4th duke bound to get rid of you as soon as his daughter wake up but escaping the prince or the imperial palace for that matter is way easier said than done.
But it sounds like the fl fake family did a lot of damage to the prince, even killing the girl he loved in the previous life. As far as he knows she was in cahoots with them and her family is power hungry. He probably realized that having a child with her strengthens the noble’s power. Plus he didn’t like her.

Generally I glad it got dropped because aint no way fl falling for the prince again. The same guy that said you and the baby was a mistake and didn't want to see you. I hate a good regression story only for the MC/Fl to forgive the one that hurt them the most. Secondly, Ren is the most annoying character I have seen. His hate against Veronica and the family is understandable, but he picks on everyone. If you're getting protected by someone, it only increases his interest in you to want to bully you more (regardless of status). God forbid you have a secret and he finds out, he will immediately weaponize it and blackmail regardless to who you are. Same goes with his "kind" gestures. After tripping Lucia and giving her his coat, he was doing background checks and scouring the whole school just to find her in the name of paying him back. If you peaked his interest, He is a pest that constantly love to stick his nose in your affairs and try to use whatever dirt he may find. We suppose to feel bad for his situation, but I just cant. Author knows how to right an annoying character fr. Other than that, I feel bad for fl she was living a peaceful life way on the other side until the 4th duke and his retainers threw her into a life filled with enemies and betrayal. Then have the audacity to call her worthless and sickening. Especially the knight who ended up killing her original parents as soon as she left.
