Some art choices are.... definitely a choice

I'm reading Ch.3 and MC's internal monologue calling herself old and ugly is so tone deaf (I get that she's feeling negative towards herself, but...), no hate but the author draws her like a plucky teenager with overly voluptuous curves - if she wanted to portray MC being overworked, sleeping little and caring after herself even less then give her at least some eyebags!!!! Then the transition would be visible after ML takes care of her and she has the energy to be looking after herself again
I just feel that takes away realism from this story, makes it feeling like an overly glammed fairytale

True, it always makes me laugh when a character is supposed to be 'an old tired hag" and she looks like a bombshell who's in her 30s but looks 20 lmaoo

the only person who's calling her that is herself and the ex-husband (though, he admi has a better body or face than haesoo- only good trait he likes about her other than loyalty, sicko) it's evident that she looks way too good for her age is consistently told by others around her and the author has made canon. shabby on the hand is because its clear as day she's poor asf

Yes, but the artist doesn't even try to show visually how the hardships she goes through would reflect on her appearance (poverty, lack of sleep, overworking, starving herself), she just looks like your regular college student from any manhwa

were you expecting her to like Smeagol or something? lmao no, but i understand what you mean fr but in recent chapters she looks more lively and healthier compared to the first 20-ish chapters. also, Korean authors and realism almost dont exist and if it were the case both her and minchoel design should be question in terms of realically living in poverty for 13years, but i like the art so i dont mind.
