But age of consent and age of majority are different (idk if that's the correct terminology, but it's like in the U.S. you can consent at 18 but can't drink til 21). So calling him a minor is like talking about a 20 year old in the U.S. and calling them a minor. Sure, they can't drink til 21, but in the context of a relationship, that ≠ a minor.

I referred to him as a minor because he was under Japan's age of majority (20), not in terms of age of consent or same as age of consent (you’re right it’s not same). You’re right that he’s still able to consent in a way, I did a bit of research and yes, a 19 year old is able to consent to a relationship, so that’s my fault.

OH I assumed you were referring to him being with Goutarou. I think a 9 year age gap is significantly different than a like 20 year age gap. Those older guys were in the wrong for a lot of reasons, primarily because they were 1) using him only for sex and 2) married and cheating.
