I respectfully disagree. I'm not specifically responding to your comment alone, but rather addressing this mindset in general. Why must semes always be the ones to play the 'asshole' or 'playboy' roles, while ukes are expected to be 'pure' and 'sweet'? It's hypocritical that when semes mistreat ukes, they're often forgiven due to their charm, but when ukes make mistakes, they're labeled as 'whores' or 'horrible people.' I find this double standard illogical
Honestly I don’t enjoy this trope either way! Only a handful of manhua/manhwa/manga I’ve read have managed to get this kinda trope correct…those who can’t tend to have distasteful reads! We can both have our opinions so I’m not disputing that you’re wrong! I feel for some works it’s more accepted with the semes because we get to see them have a redemption arc, with ukes you rarely see that happening. The few I’ve read that have mastered this trope include the uke groveling and making it right with the seme and that’s what I feel is missing from this one…I just wasn’t satisfied! I hope I make sense, if not it’s ok! Again we can both have our perspectives(⌒▽⌒)
I am a fan of omegaverses, but I truly didn’t like this! I understand the ukes reasons for doing what he did but at the same time the way he went about it was very horrible! At this point give me the second couple because they made me more interested in reading this garbage more than anything else! The poor ML I felt so bad for him, like sooo freaking bad! Haaah (╬￣皿￣)凸 just let everyone but the ML and the side couple go to hell at this point! I dislike when puppy semes get treated like they are replaceable or will always be around while the uke acts like a whore (I know he didn’t do it willingly…but he also could have left his riches and be poor but he didn’t so..) anyways I hope they stop forcing this trope of shitty ukes x puppy semes down our throats cuz I truly don’t think they master it well enough!
