Tbh I don't think he'll come back to his original body. Considering how most of the reincarnation stories I've read or seen, they never got back to their OG body
I don't think he'll be back, usually they don't. He probably "died" from the suicide attempt and the MC took over the body.
Currently reading the novel and im on volume 4 (out of 5)! I dont remember if they said it already in the webtoon but in the novel it is specified that the poor sergent kang hajoon succeded in actually killing himself and his soul has already left, giving the colonel the chance to have his soul in the sergent's body. If its a consolation, the colonel takes revenge of all the people who hurt and pushed him to suicide. And back then... no kang hajoon never romantically liked muhyeok, please remember that at the time he was mentally and physically destroyed and had severe depression from his former pair's death. Now that he is in a body in his 20s though, he even feels more impulsive and things change slowly... he is still very VERY oblivious though lmao they are 100% endgame though don't worry
Omg, thank you so much for the replies! I just thought it was kinda weird that they gave fun facts about real sergeant kang hajoon in the recent chapter. It makes it even sadder to know that he’s truly gone but I’m glad colonel is going to get his revenge for him. Also, does that mean that the colonel and muhyeok are still not together in the novel?
I haven’t read the novel but i’m really curious. Will the real sergeant kang hajeong come back to his original body? And does colonel kang hajeong like muhyeok romantically? I need to know before this manhwa possibly breaks my heart
