A proper review now

This story is very human, and it can come to the frustration of some, and the excitement of others.
The way that it is written is both good and bad.
More good than bad if I had to decide, but the frustration of his humanity won’t cease.

The top shows to have a certain level of maturity that the bottom lacks, and not for not having it, but due to his past and his decisions he sort of lacks an emotional understanding from where he stands when they meet again.

They able to meet in the middle at some point in the story, which is where you finally FINALLY are able to breathe a sigh of relief, but of course there are still a lot of frustrating feelings left with all of the bottoms decisions and all the overwhelming love the top has for him. They have good communication up to a point, it takes a bit for the top to break into that. And then it goes back to 0 and we’re left to rebuilt it again because of unpacked traumas from the bottom once more.

The other instances I have to address is the top’s sheer will to hold onto this first love as fiercely as he did. Again it’s as endearing as it is frustrating. Sometimes seeing what he had to go through to get to it, it can leave you feeling like maybe he should’ve picked himself up at some point OR it was the most romantic thing a man could’ve done. He’s hot then he’s cold due to the constantly game of push and pull of the relationship but even when he’s cold there’s no denying that he came back. He was always going to come back. It was always him whether he was cold with him or not, because he still loved him, he just didn’t want to get hurt for what seemed like the umpteenth time by the same guy.

Either way it’s all about perspective with this story really and how you feel about certain types of people.
