I swear to god i was JUST debating this with my friends like a week ago. They said maybe desmond dad been in some lab or scientific experiments and i said, what if he had the same power like anya and we both LAUGHED. WE HAVE SOME CRAZY THEORIES AND WE BOTH LAUGHED IT OFF

I'm going off on a tangent here but i find it sus that he's got those stitches and Anya doesn't. Makes me think that they're "harvesting" the ability from the kids. But then again, she could have stitches too under her hair
