If you seach what Bara is or ask tiktok, it's "gay manga by gay men" rlly broad concept if you ask me bc there's a ton of manhwas who are written by men that usually you wouldn't call bara
But when you seach Bara in manga sites is a genre with very masculine & muscular men, either all characters or at least whoever is the bottom. The style can be very crute and less romantic so some people don't like it

Cause a lot of them are just straight up porn and badly written. We can also say the same thing for bl but I have yet to find a good bara manga
