MC is just too kind..kinda naive but got lucky to meet ML, though he was a bastard in the beginning (based on how he treated MC). I do think ML has softened and became an orange flag for now. Not every nice person is as lucky as MC

I... wouldn't call MC lucky. The real lucky person won't have a shitty father like that. He won't get chased around like that. He survived till university all thanks to his own hardwork. Not luck.
If you call him meeting ML is lucky, then this is the first time he ever get so lucky, and that's like a rewards of what he has been through all this year instead of being "lucky". He has been on the very bottom, working multiple jobs everywhere and being on run so many times. Now it's his time to get the happiness he should have.

Okay I understand. But still, even though he doesn't meet this ML, he probably would still be the same pure and hard working him, because we can see how he hurriedly tried to leave the ML's house to look for a new job. He simply hasn't gave up. He chose not to gave up. He is a very strong person, aside from being kind, to withstand all of the things happened to him. You said he is naive but actually, he might have known more shitty things than most people as well (not as naive as we thought). It was shown in earlier chapter that his univ friends wants to take advantage of him but he understands what they're trying to do and refused them sternly.
I still don't believe he gets what he have (the ML) only thanks to "luck" in love. This is true in real life as well, so I guess the author had similar thinking. Maybe, if he started to have a thought of "using" the ML, the ML would have long since threw him away after sleeping with him. Maybe if he got greedy of ML's love when he sets the boundsries at the beginning, the ML would have discarded him. Maybe, if he is not the way he is, if he is doubting ML, if he never though ML is a good person, he won't even met the ML. Do you get it? "Luck", comes to those who are ready to accept the luck. This all happened because he is Yeomin. Not just because he is lucky at love. I stand corrected on my point.
I once read comments one saying that Yeomin is too naive and he should've used the ML to survive and my opinions won't change that NO HE SHOULDN'T.
Yeomin doing that would RUIN the entire stroy and his character. The whole reason that us (readers) and this ML are unconsciously falling in love with him is how pure and cute Yeomin is and how hardworking he is. He is a pure and kind boy who never thought of waiting for someone or using someone to save him. He is not a princess waiting for a prince to come get him. He works for himself. He depends on himself because he never depends on even his own shitty "father".
And the reason Yeomin fall in love with ML is because he is always there for him somehow (good timing lol) and in Yeomin's eyes, he treats him well. He FALL IN LOVE. Not discovered a talking wallet or potential sugar daddy (plus at the beginning he doesn't evem know he is rich). He slept with him, and spend times with him because of that affection. He wanted to. That's enough for him. See that he even used his own moneybto cook because he is grateful the ML is giving him a place to live? Don't try to change his character when it's what making this story alive. Don't tell him what to do cuz what he did is the right thing. That's what making him still so lively and pure throughout the whole mess life. Because he stays true to himself. AUTHOR MADE HIM THAT WAY BRUH.
