The librarian is not immortal. The student was cursed by his original teacher/master with immortality. That original teacher was an exorcist. As for exorcists being evil, it is complicated. And there is a definite goal our librarian is set on achieving! More will be revealed...
Any kind soul out there who have read the novel, if it isn’t taking too much of your time, would you be kind enough to give us some spoilers?
Also, is the ML also an immortal? And how did the MC become an immortal? And what is the ML trying to achieve with all of these? Are the exorcists really evil?
