I’m drawn to the complexity of the characters. Their relationship doesn’t fit neatly into the label of a “love story”, it’s uncomfortable, layered, and built on a dynamic that challenges traditional ideas of connection (and frankly, wrong). That’s exactly what I find compelling about it. I’m not celebrating or endorsing the violence present in the narrative, nor do I view it as something to be romanticized. This is fiction.
believe it or not, the second couple is my favorite, adorable, and horrible, but still a banger. I wanted more from them ( ̄へ ̄)
