No you’re absolutely right. Gyeoseul say that she had the ability to be on toe to toe with her but she did now want a friend she wanted a follower.
Leaving your own habilities aside because your friend is green with envy should have turn on all the alarms, but it did not. Still, this competition is making her understand everything so I like the way its going.
Calling her a friend because you have lived with her for a long time and you shared stuff... The story clearly shows that it was just one-sided. It is sad that in RL this happens, and you invest time in people that do not really care about you, just care about the way you compliment and be there for them, but they will never do the same for you...
Maybe I am just comparing fantasy with RL, but it brings me back memories. I would love to see how they plan to resolve this in the end.
