I know most people here don't like when someone says how bad translation is. They say to respect translators hard work. Don't you think that artists put much more of a hard work, their thoughts and feelings in mangas and comics? I'm an illustrator myself and I've had one of my graphic novels very badly translated. Which completely ruined work I've put so much effort into. So how do you think mangakas feel about their creations being muddled and spoiled? Don't you think their work deserve some respect?

    I completely agree with you.
There is WAY too much lost in lazy translations (aka, copy and paste the stuff into Google Translate, which is the number 1 worst thing you can ever do to translate something). On top of it being disrespectful to the author, I think it's disrespectful to the -readers- as well. I person ally prefer no chapters at all to badly translated ones. It's quite a bit painful to triple read things and you still have to pretty much guess what the hell was said, meant or were the connection was if there is any at all.
