Maybe because he runs the risk of finding it boring and, oh idk, murdering her??? He's an actual psychopath prone to murdering things. I wouldn't tell him jack shit about my feelings either.
At this point I don't think he'll murder her, hell probably injure her(which isn't any better) to keep her from running away or just lock her somewhere but not kill her hed too obsessed with her
For me the fl lead is a hit or miss, why can't she just tell him why she did all of those things instead of letting him think she loves another man. Maybe there's a thing keeping her from saying stuff trope or something but at that point just try to tell him it's not how he thinks I feel bad for him, he's suffered enough
