The author is going through some health issues. I think that’s why it ended so badly. He hey probably didn’t want to do that, but it is what it is.

I wanted to see if the ending was great for a manga that I've been marinating in my mind. NOW CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY I GOR CLIFFHANGED AFTER I WAITED HOW MANY YRS FOR THIS?!?!?! I thought the ending would be them being all lovey-dovey I CANT BELIEVE THIS IM SO FRUSTRATED WTF
