I believe jjk is actually very perceptive, he knows what he did to kim dan was wrong but can't accept it in his head. he's used to giving and taking (based on his past relationships) and I doubt he's ever received any kind of (non-sexual) affection from anyone which is why he's having a hard time confronting kim dan. he can't bring himself to apologize so he's trying to "give" him smth (money) to make up for it, and now he's confused as to why kim dan is refusing him since this "giving and taking" has always worked for him before. he can't even begin to comprehend his own feelings or dan's. I was very disappointed at first when I saw him mentioning the spray accident but not apologizing, however now I think it was in character for him. and there's still a long way to go for his character development so I'm going to wait and see how things are going to turn out
chapter 49 when he (jjk) says "I should've just killed him (baek jumin) right then and there", does that mean he was a part of that underground ring that the gym guys were talking about in ch 47? and that's how baek jumin knew him?
I'm not sure but since he sometimes acts like he Could actually kill someone, I think it's not too far off to assume that perhaps he's been raised in an underground ring?? (where illegal bettings happen and whatnot) which also explains why he literally has no family/friends/acquaintances and Also no manners. there was this chapter (probably around 25 or 26 idk) where someone was saying "we're lucky jk hyung chose sports and didn't go down the wrong path"
that May have been some kind of foreshadowing. If I'm right then it could also justify why jjk is so obsessed with training and becoming stronger since that's what he Had to do growing up to survive. of course it's just a theory but I Am genuinely curious about how baek jumin and jjk knew each other and this was the only explanation I could come up with.
(there's also the possibility of them having grown up in the same orphanage, since baek jumin mentioned he's known jjk ever since he was a kid. but nothing is for sure...)
