sad how dorothea was actually a good empress but ppl cant accept shits so made her look like a tyrant when all she wanted was love. really feel grateful that ethan never left her side. hope she overcome her trauma and guilt and realise she can be a good empress better than ray.

I'd rather have her not become empress, it's like the number one thing she didn't want to turn back to in her 2nd life. It'd destroy the whole point if she became an empress. Plus, tbf she was NOT a good empress in her 1st life.

She's going to become empress anyway lol

she was actually a good empress in her 1st bc she not only focused on nobles and commoners she focused on disabled ppl too and gave them opportunity to have their own careers. and in the current tl all the ideas she gave are praised and she utilised them when she was empress. its just bc her focus was on theon more than anything it feels like she wasn't a good empress and she got the throne by killing ray too so it also affected her. plus the most important thing was she didn't have that light power or whatever that is why ppl criticised her and didn't accept her as empress and claimed she's a tyrant. yes she wasn't a good person but she was a good empress.

Bruh... Did we read the same thing??

She was a good empress, and loves her people. The only thing <defective>(as the people said) is that she can't handle spirits.

Not only that, her pov isn't reliable (as we've seen in earlier chapters such as when Theon is actually the 'evil' one in the relationship she had been faulting herself for.)

AND she still wants to be empress. She's just afraid she won't be a good empress (which is clearly not the case since all her ideas have done nothing but improved their empire)

wait I'm confused. wasn't she a rlly bad empress the first time aorund? I'm on chapter 10 rn and she said she was a horrible empress in her first life bc she "started wars, forced labor upon her subjects, turned a blind eye to natural disasters, disease, and poverty, and caused over 50,000 people to die." Also, didn't she kill her brother for the throne and was executed for her wrongdoings as empress?

do we get new info later on in the story that says otherwise? you mentioned she's an unreliable narrator, does that mean all that actually didn't happen and someone made her believe that or blew her imperfections out of proportion?

    thank youuuu

Basically, as the story goes on, you'll see that most of her quote unquote "wrong doings" Are effects of her subjects not acknowledging her. And yes, she's a very unreliable narrator cus all her thoughts revolve around Theon.

She's not aware of the positive things she brought to the world. She believes she's a tyrant, when in reality, she is not.
