I understand her running away, but abandoning her child with your abuser and thinking that the same thing woudn't happen to them really doesn't make any sense unless she's actually just a selfish and horrible person herself.
What inwoo had to go through is terrible, that is a fact, but neither i or anybody else has been through what his mom has, you dont know what years of abuse can do to you as a person, how they can break you completely and mess up your sense of wrong and good, how they destroy any ounce of hope left, what i am saying is that she was a victim too and she did what she could to survive, i also wish she didnt leave inwoo with her abuser there, a lot of it is her fault, but i know that she had her reasons and i am not in a position to judge her whatsoever, neither can i blame her, i can only hope they both recover

she was a stay-at-home mother , where do you think she would get enough money for both of them to leave,hes abusive aidt hed give her that big of an allowance too ,plus the dad never abused Inwoo when she was with them , she did believe hed still be the same after she left ...if he did abusive both of them i 100% sure she woulve taken inwoo with her
i can only imagine the imense amount of shame and guilt this woman must be feeling, life is not going easy on her, i can definately understand her running away, i hope she manages to find forgiveness peace and happiness same as inwoo, they are both brave and trying their best
