I have a somewhat similar theory as well! ヾ(☆▽☆) that's probably why he knows how to sweet talk good ol' granny into trusting him
His parents or guardians are alcoholics, that's why he seem perplexed at Dan's "i don't remember walking into the ocean" comment. He knows the signs of over drinking.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
