Iirc he becomes the character. It's like an intense version of method acting. In one of the earlier scripts he even felt himself being beheaded, even though i'm sure no script would include that detail. So he's not just copying the way a character moves or speaks. He can "act" because he was that character (and more than once too since he practices a lot)

More like DID than bipolar. But rather than giving him a disorder, think of it as he's living a different life. He doesn't actually "act" like other people do. It's more like he's reenacting a life that he already lived. Just like how a smoker acts differently than non-smokers because some habits have been engraved into their bones. It's also why MC can pick up a skill (like foreign language or singing) after reading a script. Because in the life he lived in that skill, he could do that.

hmmm yes he can only immerse himself in the story if it’s a script otherwise the black portal won’t pop up. having a script would help him experience the characters and the world itself tho once he do that he can already call out a character even w/o a script (like with mr. park in the mxdo ad)
a lil SPOILER if you want:
his ability also level up so eventually he would also be able to not only embody the characters but he’ll be able to mix and match them as well. and yes he can improvise and it’ll also magically fit well with the scene lol
I was thinking about this like it's just some random thoughts, but is he only can act if there's a script or he actually sucked the characters' character from the script that he read? I mean what if he was asked to act as assistant manager park in a reality show like he was given a situation or something, does the characters stuck with him like another personality that he could pull anytime asked or?? Also is he just act purely based on the script? What if another actors improvising? Could he keep up? Or...???
i over think it
