Whyre you acting like steamed buns are a new concept
In my case it disrupts the immersion in the story. While it isn't a new concept in comedy or a new food in korea or europe.... the cute 'nickname' doesn't sound like one in the translation. So i everytime read the name i will think of the word manju/ Jjinppang. Even if I force myself I can't see Asha as a Germknödel either.
Time he calls him steamed bun. It throws me off so hard. Why bother make it a western fantasy setting and then shoving steamed buns down my throat
