    youre right and im nodding with you but to be fair her colleagues think he’s some college to young salary man kind of guy, they’re unaware of his extreme chaebolness

    I don't think so, I've seen it a lot. People tend to cut off contact or slowly avoid you if you ask for money.

    Ofc the advice is terrible as we know that the ml will happily give her 456 billion dollars if she asked.

    But judging from the context of the situation, they don't know who she's talking about or don't know him well. I can't fault them for the advice that won't work.
