It's a good thing the father's dead and dying in a painful car accident was a great way to go. It's tough to say what one would and wouldn't do. I think because he husband kept saying at least he doesn't hit her in front of the son tells her that he won't lay hands on inwoo. Unfortunately, abusers will just find someone else. I understand why she ran away to save herself. It would have been harder to both run away and she was brave confronting the abuser. Most people have too much trauma. I'm glad Inwoo is in a better place now

I understand her running away, but abandoning her child with an abuser and thinking that the same thing woudn't happen to them really doesn't make any sense unless she's actually just a selfish and horrible person herself. And nowhere in the story she ever said that she left inwoo because she thought her husband won't touch inwoo. She just left because she want to save herself. Which i understand if let's say she just gone for a year or two just to settle down and make sure that everything is ready when she took inwoo with her. But a freaking 10 years?! Just 2 more years and he would be an adult, who doesn't need her to protect him anymore. But ok, at least she came back for him, right? But noooo, she freakin ran away again! She's not guilty of anything yet she's so stupid and think that she killed her ex just because people said she is???? So how come she's still able to roaming around korea being a pastry teacer and all but still ZERO effort to find inwoo??? If she's trully feeling guilty and doesn't want inwoo to suffer, she should've take a real actions even tho it's just a tiny step instead of just praying to God and hoping a coincidence brought them together!
