I don't know why but this reminded of a post about gen z becoming parents "do you want to become parents because you want to have kids or is it because you want to prove to yourself that you can raise them better than your parents raised you"
The way we get abandoned and abused should make us treat others ESPECIALLY our kids the opposite.. it definitely is hard but you wouldn't want anyone to go through what u went through so I don't think ill ever be able to bring myself to forgive his mother.
I'm sorry but no, the domestic abuse she suffered is not a justification for abandoning her son, it is even worse knowing the type of person the father was, leaving the child with someone like that... nothing justifies abandoning a child, nothing!(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
