that isn't a friend that's a parasite

gyeoseul benefited from mc's family' love during her childhood, they gave her the only thing she lacked.
mc conditioned herself to be inferior to her just because she wanted her happy, while never resenting her for having more wealth than her family.
and finally, when mc starts to get results for her hard work, in a competition she entered to support her father who has been unfairly labelled as a traitor, gyeoseul repays mc's kindness by talking shit behind her back (at least letting others do so) and having a meltdown.
she's not her friend if her success makes her jealous and unhappy. she should be wishing for mc to rise and for her family to live well thanks to the competition. instead she only thinks of her own status, and cry over losing a competition she didn't even need to join because her family was already well off.
i liked this chapter cause you feel mc's grief over their relationship while she starts to recognize how it also held her back. i just hope mc does not forgive her, just move on and let her in the past.
