To summarize: Chase didn’t remember him at all since his memories during rut are all foggy and he was gaslighted to believe whatever Grayson told him, Josh was the one to tell him the truth!
There were some scenes of them being really close, Chase for some reason felt hella comfortable around Josh, as he started to wonder what made Josh so special since for him Josh stands out from the rest, he tell us that sometimes he has some dreams of his rut and how he held someone he doesn’t remember (instead of that dog Grayson told him about).
Later Chase gets kidnapped, Josh and the bodyguards come to rescue him and as josh fights his earpiece (he always uses them to hide the mark made by Chase when he bit him in his rut) falls off and everyone in the room notices that mark, including Chase.
Of course this made Chase go mad because he didn’t know who or how did Josh get marked, then more things happens and blablaba, but what’s important is that Chase tried to unalive himself by provoking someone that was pointing a gun towards him, Josh got mad because of this and Chase tells him to do not leave him and well they say I love you to each other, then Chase and Pete have a hang out to meet each other, something happens with them and Jish reveals to him that he was the one who marked him and that he was his child’s father.
