Have you ever had someone save you from falling grace? Had someone be your light and savior from an abusive home? Leads you the way from teenage years to adulthood? Proudly showed you off in the midst of insecurities? Teaches you the way how to have fun? Married someone? Worse of all, planned and promised to be family with that someone for almost a decade? Also--- LOST A BABY? Miscarriage??

What’s amazing about this manhwa is how it’s actually a mirror of reality even as a fiction for women who were low in self-esteem and thrown out just because you were never enough. It’s amazing how strong she is. No matter how handsome, rich or hot Taeha is, (let’s be really, really, really honest) he would never reach the level the Mincheol she grew up to love and adore.

I understand all of that, but let's be honest: none of it is the real reason they stayed together after their divorce. They were already divorced and still living together, not out of love or any strong connection, but simply out of convenience. They had grown accustomed to each other. She was feeling lonely and he filled that void for her. While they do share a lot of history, that isn't a valid reason to hold on to someone who clearly doesn't love you.

“ While they do share a lot of history, that isn't a valid reason to hold on to someone who clearly doesn't love you.”

It actually is. It does matter a lot when you spend more of teenage-adulthood years with a man you promised to spend your life together with. Even when they were divorced, we should not forget that Haesoo was still hoping and she still loved Mincheol. It was only recently that she decided to move on. So her feelings are completely valid and understandable. She’s not being stupid, she’s being vulnerable.

It’s easy to say “let go of your ugly and worthless ex” when you haven’t found someone whom you truly loved to the point of letting yourself change to satisfy them. Though I understand your point because I was once there, I have now understand Haesoo’s position even better now because I was also in love with someone that I changed myself for them and dedicated everything I did for them. Unless you’ve fallen for someone to the point of being shattered when they stopped catching you, you wouldn’t know how it truly feels.

    Also I am not mad!

It’s just a rare gem to finally see a character and a story that shows how moving on really feels. If we could move on with just one big step, we will! We definitely will, but we can’t. Most cheated on-manhwas include FL being a baddass btch, planning on revenge and ruining their ex’s life which is almost all the same. But to see a manhwa where you could see a woman that was abused and taken advantage of, but still holds genuine feelings is almost impossible to find. When you truly love someone, you would get mad-cry-doubt-get mad again - cry - doubt. It’s a cycle but you would want to heal your heart without wishing anything truly bad for you ex because, again, you loved them with all your heart.

Although I always say that fiction should stay as fiction, it’s a fresh air to see that women’s - like Haesoo - feelings are valid and normal. To move on and let go while loving and missing someone is valid.

We already have a lot of baddass bitches representations, let fragile women be represented and validated too.

Same! I understand where you are coming from; we just have different opinions. Still, I'm committed to this story until the end. I'm invested.
