It is indeed different from the usual, but I guess many people feel bad because we saw Joseph dedicating himself to MC in both timeline, and it is romantic to imagine his pure feelings of devotion rewarded! Instead we have Erez, who didn't even know MC, dropping by the party uninvited and eating the cake! Their love story seems a bit shallower since their feelings are so new. But you can say that's life ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Also, I saw someone saying that in the novel, MC stayed single and that the author must have their own agenda for making Erez the ML. That seems plausible to me, seeing how controversial their choice is! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I actually like that erez is the endgame cz usually the person who always helps/kind to the MC in the past life bcome the love interest or the endgame. but this one is different cz erez dsnt even know keira but in the current TL erez and keira fll in love in the process...
