actually this manhwa is actually one that doesn’t romanticise the rape. wuyeon is quite disgusted by jaeha’s actions after the first scene that he has a hard time processing it and confiding in jinwoo. every sex scene leading up to wuyeon breaking down in jaeha’s office is awkward for him.he is adamant in refusing jaeha’s proposal to quit his job and leave his house. that’s he why he even assumes jaeha hates him.because he thinks that what jaeha is doing to him are actions that you’d do to someone you hate…not love…and him acquiescing to jaeha’s proposal came from a place of desire that everyone who lives hand to mouth desires…to not struggle to survive. to not work and slave away day in day out to have food on your table and a roof over your head.
with jaeha he would not have to think about money, rent, bills and food. he would not need to worry about screwing up at work, having only 19000 won in his account etc. and all he had to do was stay by jaeha’s side. he did not feel love for jaeha. and i’d go as far to say he never felt pure intentional love for jaeha. it was stockholm syndrome. he even understood himself that the only way he could be emancipated from the tiny room with no open windows and a scratchy bed, was to grovel and convince jaeha he loves him. and where he was mentally, he could convince himself he loves jaeha too. this gave more psychosexual bl thriller than romance imo.

I have read a lot of bl mangas but really the first 6 chapters and this f*ing top literally rapes the poor guy. Its really terrible guys... Don't read mangas like this which glorifies rape as romantic.. Poor uke cries for his "mom" Who is dead by the way.
