Honestly Sarah annoys the eff out of me. She literally took them in, raised them, and then went off because "oh they're grown now it's fine they didn't leave any attachments". She could have given them a better farewell; the same with Claude. "He only deserves to see nice things" but that will inevitably stunt his growth. She's playing house with actual people and then sulking when it doesn't work out. Of COURSE your desciples are going to follow you if you raise them for years. They've devoted themselves to you, you told them to trust you, and then you ghosted them. You went and bought cigarettes.

She didn’t raise them, what are you talking about. There wasn’t a single scene showing she raised them. The only scenes shown was her meeting them and teaching them how to do magic. That’s it.

She didn’t. She said it herself when talking about them, she TRAINED them. It was only ever a teacher/student relationship. She did her job as a teacher by giving them the opportunity to have a better life, learn, and work. They are grown adults. What do you mean “getting abandoned.” They are not toddlers lmao. A teacher has no obligation to do more than just teach. A teacher doesn’t have an obligation to tell them where they’re going or what they’re doing.

Also idk if you’ve read any other stories about mentor/apprentices, but it’s very normal for mentors to take in young students and teach them, so they can grow and become independently successful. That is all. The other teachers in the magic tower have pointed out that the disciples should be independent too. The disciplines are the abnormal ones who grew their own obsession. You can’t blame someone for someone else deciding to be a psycho over them

This doesn't negate the fact that Sarah is ignorant as Hell and just constantly uses people to serve her own means and then gets mad when others do the same. The character is flat and boring.

Especially if the youngest student is a child that has been abandoned. You don't just take in students and let them LIVE with you without thinking "oh this is a lot for them to deal with". Sarah disposed them like garbage and as per usual people are bored with her punishing them over something she caused.

Why don’t you show me the exact chapter she made them live with her? Cause there wasn’t a single chapter I’ve seen with them being in a house together. And I also don’t think you understand how mentors work. It is NORMAL for masters like that to take in young apprentices to learn and work for them. That is nothing out of the ordinary, that is what the other master in the tower do as well. She gave them the opportunity to be off the street and gain knowledge, while they do work.

You’re weird for saying “punishing them for something she caused.” That’s called victim blaming. Do you say this when a girl is nice to a dude and he ends up stalking her and trying to kill her? “He’s getting punished for what she caused!!” Nonsense. How about you reread and fact check yourself. The disciples caused harm to HER and other people. The green head got close to the prince and was willing to put the royal family and everyone in that room in order to meet his master. The girl disciple called it out saying it was dangerous and the green head just said, “it’s okay, master will just cough up a little blood. She’ll handle the stones once she sees them.” The girl disciple knew the plan but let it happen at the time. The red head also attacked people and didn’t give a shit about the kid in the room either. Also the punishment was ACCEPTED and was the girls powers.

Chapters 45, 47, 48, 49, 51. All have the crazy disciples causing harm. What you’re doing is victim blaming. Acting like the damn disciples are innocent just cause she taught them how to use magic. She isn’t the mother. Your mindset seriously scares me and makes me believe you’d support stalkers irl and victim blame.

My replies to that other person is because that person has been in other comments talking about ho much of an angel the disciples are for nearly killing people, not acknowledging anything the disciples did was wrong, and fully blaming the FL for THEIR actions.
