Yes, at this point we don't know who he will end up with. I just based on the convo between Zig and a reader. I'm not even sure if the author has plans of writing the story for Spence. It's like how she mentioned about Dane and Grayson some years ago but still <Lick Me If You can>novel isn't yet. And, yes, as per author said, Cecil really likes Spencer the way Chase does with Josh. I can already see the similarities tbh as I've already read <Kiss Me If You Can>novel. Cecil wearing female clothes because of Spencer told him it suits him(thinking that he's a girl). He's pleasing Spencer using his physical feats. We all know Josh likes Chase's face so he even sometimes use this to his advantage. Chase is basically both like a cat and a puppy with Josh-- a wild cat but then tamed and became attached to Josh. He wanted Josh's attention and affection just like how Cecil wanted Spencer's. I remember how Chase became angry every time Josh is in company of any woman. Just like how Cecil is to Spencer when he's with Pete alone.
