I second, More like most of them found talent on duke and wanted to bring him down by gaslighting him so they won't be blamed. As much as I hate him, we cannot deny the fact that he has no REAL MENTOR
Where I understand you both, Duke also had a time advantage to build himself stronger. He had plenty of resources etc whereas Jiwoo did not, even though he may have amazing mentors he also puts in a ton of work and amazes them with his own growth an that's due to the work he put in, lets not diminish that. (=・ω・=)

He had the resources yeah but what we're talking about is the fact that no one taught him how to make better use of any of it. We did not mean jiwoo's hard work is any lesser tho, he's doing the greatest job and that's why duke was far from his level(⌒▽⌒)
he does, what he lacks is commitment and displace. even the guy teaching him said it in the chapter "he's losing control, in a time like this you need to stay calm." he's being blood lusted, which is exactly why he's gonna lose
He had teachers, was from a wealthy known family etc... He also came from a top tier school that taught him as well. His problem isn't he didn't have teachers, he lacks self control and suffers from a god complex that's paired with insecurities from a student (Jiwoo) that surpased him even though he was considered one of the strongest. His issues are hard to "correct" or replace with something healthier unfortunately. (=・ω・=)

Yeah, but what I'm saying is he doesn't have "reliable" adults who will actually guide him to the right path. Yeah he does have amazing resources, but no one really gives him a reality check that there is always another higher mountain.
Am I the only one who felt so bad about duke? Coz unlike jiwoo he doesn't have reliable adults around him
