It’s probably because the MC is not that type to assume things nor think too much about things. I knew a lot of people like that, also he wouldn’t even minded it unless the ML had said it straight foward about the past at the first place. MC seem careless and had too many things in his bag to even think about it…
I mean if he didn't have silver hair and laser-red eyes, it'd be "too crazy of a coincidence"; now that he has them, it's not that crazy, is it? How many people can possibly have those facial traits? ╥﹏╥
