Real, even the very idea of showing them as kid tsubaki and adult Yuu having something was weird enough, maybe it could be pardon if they spent almost zero times together during tsubaki's childhood and just met when they're older and both an adult, that way this wouldn't feel so much like the author grooming them both to eventually end up in a relationship. Yuu feels like a creep now.
I was skimming through the story, to make sure I'm not going crazy but this is so wrooong. Felt super uncomfortable with chap 97-99 with Yuu just letting the kid do what he wants.
it’s weird to me how high schoolers date college students in Japan but this is even worse, if a kid has a crush on an older person it’s okay because they’re just a kid they don’t really understand. But I don’t think Yuu should be reciprocating like this, in the beginning it was just ignoring the crush and not being aware of it but then he became aware and didn’t place very clear boundaries and continued to engage Tsubaki and let him do as he wished. I’m also confused why these 5th grade 10 year old children are talking about erotic things, I know why it’s set up that way since the one boys mother is a novelist but why? Why does a story need 10 year olds dreaming about sex? This story would’ve been cute and okay if it just showed the kids one sided crush and then skipped to their relationship when they were both adults. I personally really like Yuu’s character I think he’s wasted on this comic and it’s disappointing he’s written as a bit of a creep. This comic was incredibly cute at points like the other comments say but those strange moments really ruin it.
