Lol I started reading the novel out of curiosity and I get what you mean now- I’m lowkey sad that the Mc probably won’t get with his mercenary but instead some other girl who fell for him so quickly(I don’t hate good romance but this sort of thing is so cliche) I prefer romance to be a good friends-to-lovers kinda development in action stories ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
