I mean I would say the same thing if it were in the case where mc started to bombard him with questions or do dubious things to keep the dude all to himself, but I think it's pretty much normal to be overthinking things when u hear rumors about a guy you're interested in and supposedly a guy who reciprocates that interest (let's not forget that ml was the first to make advances towards mc either) Besides, yeah mc is a tad bit paranoid and clingy but he also starts to think that what he's worried about might not matter at all. Really all he needs is some assurance or even communication with the ml, which as we've read so far, not something ml is quite ready for or really open to with mc yet

People in these comments pissing me the fuck off, ppl side with the mc in every story despite them being in the wrong no matter what cause it’s honestly a self insertion, mc is being clingy as fuck to a dude he’s not in a relationship with and are legit fuck buddies, ml doesn’t have to respond to his every message at any time he sends it this dude was going crazy cause he didn’t respond to him quickly whilst they aren’t even in a damn relationship (even in a relationship this ain’t normal) mc is basically most people in real life when they have a crush that’s why yall so quick to defend him u see urself in this dude
