So this is how I am understanding it. Benjamin our ML with heterochromia, and apparently the need for higher doses of anesthesia, is an undercover cop (CBI Agent) who is working on a case trying to find where drugs (apparently some sort of morphine?) are being created/distributed by. He has a sad life, where his mother was killed by the same organization that took him in as a kid and trained him to be an agent (It looks like he was cared for by a Director Ellens?). They killed her, claiming they thought she was with the mafia, and only realized afterward that she was actually an agent. They covered up the murder as a robbery.
While investigating a mafia boss-Ian Basti- who is suspected of being the distribute, they steal a box off of him, and when they open it, they find a head. Turns out the head belongs to a Senator Andreas's son, Anthony Garnazzo (why they don't share the same last name, I have no clue). The Senator, is pushing for a new drug bill, and who the cops think is on their side. Which is why they are baffled as to why he didn't report his son's disappearance, and they guys declaration, "My son is an adult, that is why I hired a private investigator." Turns out the investigator is the mob boss (purple eyes), and the claim is that he was taking the head back to the senator to prove he had 'found his son's body.'
Before the head is reclaimed by the Senator, the cops run a DNA test on it (thus how they knew who the victim was), but they also found drugs in his system. The belief is that the mafia boss is the one who drugged and murdered the guy.
Our ML is captured. Apparently though, while he was being strangled, he showed he had a proclivity for roughness, which sparked Ian's interest, and it didn't hurt that out ML is a pretty boy as well. Thus things move forward to 0.0 really fast.
*Torture *Rape *Torture *Rape *CBI announces that they are cutting Benjamin loose, and that he is now Ian's prisoner, and that they won't be trying/attempting to get him back. *Coffin- cause, "Why am I keeping you alive? You are a headache. You were just supposed to be a toy before I killed you." *Medical Bed in a cell.
Next up we have the Senator's...adopted son? son? nephew? -Again, his last name is different from the Senator's. The red headed psycho, who sells drugs, f-ks dudes to death, and generally needs to be put out of everyone's misery, Dekis (no first name given yet). Dekis decides that he wants to mess with Ian's new toy, after he lost out on a dominance fight with his father and Ian. He finds our ML in a cell, on a medical bed, and cracks a joke at him about his nose already being broken. ML has no freaking clue who this person is. Dekis then goes on to confess to murdering the Senator's son, and that Ian was framed for it. Then Dekis tries to make a not so friendly move on the ML, who promptly tries to bite the thumb off that had been shoved in his mouth. Dekis gets pissed off, and immediately tries to assault the ML further, only to have the senator's body guards drag him out of the cell.
It is then that Benjamin notices the tattoo on the back of the guards hand for the second time. The first time is in the first chapter when the Senator is being escorted out of the room after talking to the cops about his son's murder.
ML realizes two things, 1.) whoops Ian wasn't distributing drugs, he tried to murder a person on an assumption, and 2.) He that the tattoo is bad business. It belongs to a group that operates out of a restaurant, 13-2 Vegas, that the tattoo parlor is attached to. While reflecting on the restaurant, and the fact that it is odd that Ian hasn't realized the the Senator's guards are from that group, he curls up under his warm blanket, and tries to get some shut eye.
When Ian comes in, the ML starts to demand answers about everything-after all, he did almost kill Ian off of an assumption! Let's also remember that our poor ML is on some major painkillers through an IV drip, has a broken nose, and probably a lot of tearing and damage on his bottom half. He is NOT fully there anymore!
Benjamin is trying to figure out what the Senator is doing, and what Ian is doing, and if their interests align. Ian brushes him of. When the ML won't be brushed off Ian injects him with sedation. It turns out that he should have used a higher dose. When Ian answers the phone and turns to go, saying that he will meet the ML, who has lost a LOT of control at this point, can only roll out of the bed. Ian, miffed that all the medical work he has been doing just came undone, and demanding to know what the ML is doing, he goes to pick him up. ML then desperately tells Ian that the restaurant is bad business, and Ian asks if he should trust the cop more, or the Senator. Our ML then grabs Ian and kisses him into stupefaction.
Honestly, it is a good thing our ML is throwing the towel in with Ian. After all, if something happens to Ian, the only people who know where he is, and would even care would be the red headed psycho, or the power hungry senator.
(hope this helps some folks out! Sorry if it is way to long! Hopefully I got everything in the right order. If I messed up, I apologize.)
