It's true that he probably didn't think of it all on his own, but they do repeat what they hear. And if his parents are known for sticking up for other kids, then he probably remembers that.

I don't have children but I live with my two nephews (6 and 2) so as someone who actually has toddlers with them almost everyday, they actually say stuff like these. My nephews aren't even that smart or a bunch of philosophers, my 6 year old is all about that skibiddi sigma mindset yet he somehow spews the most philosophical questions and phrases sometimes. You'd be surprised by how one moment they're asking why they're pooping then the next would be why don't people spend more time with their loved ones if they're going to die eventually. It's wild.
