Even while Brett is going through all that, he memorized the assaulters appearances and behavior. From every single piece of their clothing even to their shoes, their skin tones and hair, their facial feature like their eyes and eyebrows, one wearing jewelry under their shirt, one had a scar, another had piercings. He said where the exact piercings were on the guys face and how another had the scent of a certain alcohol. He also noticed how there was one more afraid so that guy stayed back and just got the phone to record it, Brett noticed how the guy also seemed to not be familiar with the phone, as well as heard the shutter once. So he thinks the single picture was just for confirmation and that they didn’t take a video otherwise it would’ve already been sent.
