I’ll defend her disciples forever. She’s someone who taught them, looked after them, and was their support bc from context clues they’re either orphans or come from bad backgrounds. They are a product of her ass effort, minus belinda. How calm and rational belinda is compared to the boys is more proof that our fl here is ass at being a decent person. Belinda did not require fl to oversee her upbringing, and she turned out the most emotionally sound.
Even tho they’re adults now, their longing for her was her fault for just leaving, and never giving more than what she could use out of them.
She has nvr shown them her face or voice so how were they suppose to try and talk to her when they don’t know who she is even though she oversaw them through their developmental years?
I can see what you mean, it is hella weird to hide yourself from people that you're mentoring. But at the same time my opinion still stands. She owes them nothing. Like actually nothing. She could have neglected them or just left them to die but Cleary she didn't. And you saying she's an ass person makes no sense at all because of how attached they are to her. Clearly she's made their life better before she left which was a shitty thing to do. But that doesn't mean she owes them staying until they're ready for her to leave. What if the story was different and she was stuck with them with no life and wanted to leave but couldn't becouse of the guilt of them feeling abandoned? then it would be "leave they're grown" and "you have a life and plans that matter too". She's just a mentor not a parent. And just like a teacher, once you quit your job you don't owe your students still teaching them.
Her disciples are sooo pissy like bro yea she could've prepared them for her leaving. But she's they're teacher NOT mother. She didn't raise the from kids, maybe young adults which I get. That connection is still there. But they are grown ass adults that can't respect her decision enough to let her be. And if they needed her and instead of it being dangerous to her they should've just tried to talk. I just can't. Is she being a bit cold? Yes, because if she doesn't like children, they'll think this behavior is oki and that she'll just forgive them.
