Remember when she got her first shirt? He burned it (an offering I presume) which allowed her to wear it. Kind of gifting it to her. So no one else can see the clothes except for him :) (she can't see her reflection)
i think that there is a ritual that enables the dead to wear the clothes
he burned them so she could wear them, they are now on ger plane of existence
So he bought clothes .. for a ghost.. that can’t be seen .. by none but hisself .. So are the clothes just flotting in the air for every body else or what ? How did the come out from the shop ?
