I think (idk if am right just a theory) that the prince is developing as a omega and the prince felt that and was "responding" bit notice like "wait he doesn't know ???"

Yeah I also felt like that behavior made no sense for his character in that scenario. Feels like another instance of an author/artist randomly inserting extra drama/spice with no regard for character or plot consistency
If you read the novel, it's less out of character. He notices MC's reaction to the scar and gets carried away, but it doesn't happen that suddenly like the manhwa. Idk they have a lot of scar stroking scenes, apparently it feels good to the MC (although he denies it at first)
