I’m guessing the term they really should use is vessel. Like vessel of containing power. If you store too much or don’t have a sturdy enough vessel it won’t be able to contain what it holds and breaks. So they can be like glass cannons really strong but easily breakable.

Welcome! I do agree bowl is a weird term to use in this case for English speakers. Probably makes more sense in Korean or whatever language this was in first.
