I think he actually is Satan but doesn’t remember, maybe he’s been reincarnated or he pretends not to know
The curse is basically what Adrian has now and Lilith gave him the curse bc she’d rather “break” what she couldn’t have than let it be taken by someone else
correct me if im wrong but from what I remember Satan possessed Adrian’s body but there’s still a bit of the original Adrian inside too. So id say its more like Satan is Adrian.
