the gun is not in the same place as the first timeline, it’s in his desk not on the wall. the gun is also not loaded this time. this is because ido is afraid sejin will take his life again and he wants to prevent that from happening. ido doesn’t feel confident about anything when it comes to sejin :(
(spoiler, as if it wasnt obvious enough already, ido is very mentally unwell after what happened in the first timeline, that’s why he’s like this and also drinking so much)
