So sum of yall are worried abt whether its morally right for thwm to fall in love and even say its necrophilia, lemme remind u of....the Harkness Test.

Does Meltier...
Have human intelligence (or greater)? Yes
Can it communicate w language? Yes
Is it of sexual maturity for its species? Yes

Basically since meltier can consent and think for himself, its not technically necrophilia since thats mostly for nonverbal unresponsive th8ngs... not bashing anyone btw ^_^
