I think I kinda understand there direction the author was going for. I don't think it's that bad like others feel but felt rush & wasn't execute properly. I don't like cheating stories but this was 6 chs so I gave it a try. Honestly I would've enjoyed it more if the Photographer was just the MC and we just got him sleeping around..
Cause we got Benny and Aaron
Benny felt like Aaron wasn't showing him attention ( which we discovered a lie Aaron was literally giving him drinks before bed showing his catering self) we also see Benny admitting to Aaron putting him 1st and showing him tons of dedication, naiveness, & kindness.Benny was just bored of routine he isn't use to being with 1 person.Anyway we also learned Benny is just a big time cheater. He cheated throughout their entire relationship(Cheating before the wedding & taking pictures of it is crazy). I honestly don't know why Benny got married when it's clear he doesn't like relationships.
Aaron stated the only reason he went after Benny was because he saw it as an opportunity to bring him fame and help him live the rich life.( Which is why he accepted Benny cheating and doesn't feel like a victim cause he knows his intentions on approaching Benny wasn't honest at 1st) Which I still think is stupid because then Aaron admit he eventually fell in love with Benny. So to me it doesn't matter since the feelings for Benny were eventually real. YOU ARE STILL A VICTIM. Not only did Benny set him up with the lover he was cheating with, that same lover raped Aaron, Ruin his career & life, he became poor and depressed, same rapist manipulated him afterwards by swooning in like a knight in shining armor while he was at his lowest. In return Falls for that rapist and forgives him. VICTIM VICTIM VICTIM.
Now we have Carter
Who is introduced as someone who likes to play around with multiple partners. & Doesn't like commitment. He decides Benny is cute & would be a nice lay. So he tells Benny everything he wants to hear pushing the narrative that he deserves more & while spending time with Benny he then deludes himself into thinking that maybe this could be love ( when in reality he just has a hero complex for small animals. He feels like small animals need to be protected.) So he decides he will help Benny get rid of Aaron. He meets Aaron drugs him,rape him,expose him , ruins his life. Then he realize hey sex with Aaron was really good even better with Benny. You know what why not pursue him too. Maybe this could lead to a 3some if I'm lucky. Gets to know Aaron. realizes Aaron is cool as shit & now he feels bad for ruining his life and goes your struggling here's a bed. ( once again hero complex comes into play. Aaron appears as someone who needs saving.) Aaron being very appreciative strikes an idea in his head well damn if I buy him gifts he will become attach and forgive me when I tell him the truth ( which is exactly what happened Aaron felt grateful for his kindness and forgave him).Carter being the delusional being he is talks himself into believing he is more in love with Aaron now instead of Benny. And starts badmouthing Benny( But He really doesn't love Aaron he just in love with the idea of Aaron being a big species and he was able to tame him. That was new to him since he usually only go after small species. So exciting & fresh)
In conclusion we have
Benny who plotted a horrible scandal to divorce his husband to be with his lover. While his lover is now with his ex husband Aaron. Then wanting his ex husband back because he realize he did love Aaron and misses him cause he no longer can sleep at night( he doesn't love him he misses an obedient servant).To now saying that all 3 of them should become a couple.
Aaron who blames himself for this entire ordeal. && forgives both Benny and Carter because he feels like he is in love with them both manipulated from both sides.
Carter who is now having post nut clarity and realizes he's bored after finally having the threesome and now wants to go fuck their friend the matchmaker daydreaming about how spicy it'll be.
