From what i understood other versions appear after some time when the original born and nois were too young to be visited by the time nux find Owen and it's currently year after they decided to get married, that's why can now see the other nois

Like, they should be living in different realities, but share the same on instead. Something like the light reflected on a Diamond, different colours provided from pure white.
