Nah I agree with you too.
There was actually also no need for romance at all.
Most action manhwa's or any other comic gets boring when there's romance because somtimes the romance part take up most of the time then suddenly there's a fight outbreak like wtf?
Some do make it natural but the other some is soo cringy like, come on we want an action badass comic/anime.....why suddenly force in a romance session evn tho not needed?!............
(Real situation of mine where I stopped watching anime just because of unnecessary romance in action anime
Ikr lol. The romance felt like the author just prepared a "perfect" female character to suit the "perfect" ML but it fell super flat. It would have made more sense if it was platonic but oh well.
I agree with you saying that there's a romantic moment and sometimes manhwa/anime randomly jump to a fight scene. It's reverse but the part when sung jinwoo decided to sacrifice(?) himself and he went through his contact list to look for the person he wanted to spend time with left me flabbergasted that he chose hae in. I was like "......huh? O_O???" like since when y'all so close?? Haha anyway it was a very nice read nonetheless
This was such a great story. Barely slept just so I could finish it lol. Ma fav character is definitely igris haha. I was so happy when he popped up.
Also I'm definitely gonna get downvoted for this but the romance(?) between sung jinwoo and cha hae in felt so forced and random. I feel like it would have made more sense if endgame was lee joohee. But thankfully this part wasn't too emphasized.
